*NEW* This is a
paper pattern
for "Alice and Dorothy" by Christine Shively. If you love Alice of Wonderland and Dorothy of Oz, this is the pattern for you. An 11" fabric doll that is designed to sit. Tab head, wired fingers, arms are separate and placed together to give each figure the gesture and nuance that the maker wishes. A flat pattern design is used for a pinafore  and dress top. Dress and pantaloons are included. Step by step directions for shoe and hair attachment is included. Discussion of placement and shaping of features on the face, highlight and shadow to create depth are also included. Colored pencil, Pigma pen and acrylic paint will be used for the face.
