Offered for sale is a vintage green Jadeite (Jadite) glass butter dish with clear crystal lid. Fire King Ovenware brand produced by
Anchor Hocking. Maker's mark on bottom of base. Restaurant-ware style meant to hold a quarter pound of butter. MCM. Collectible. Like-new condition.
Butter dish base measures approximately 6.75 inches by 2.75 inches.
Butter dish lid measures approximately 5.5 inches by 2.24 inches by 1 inches.
Very good vintage condition; does not appear to have been used (this was in my husband's family when he was growing up).
Any natural imperfections are characteristic of this era's manufacturing and production process.
Crystal lid is clear with no cloudiness.
Base is marked Fire King Oven Ware on bottom.
