VINTAGE 1960s FIRE KING SIRLOIN STOCKADE RESTAURANT COFFEE CUP WHITE GLASS MUG

Description

Offered here is a vintage white glass / milkglass coffee cup or mug. One side pictures the "KING SIRLOIN" advertising character bull for "Sirloin Stockade" restaurants. The opposite side has the "S.S." logo. The underside of the mug is embossed: "ANCHOR HOCKING...FIRE KING...OVEN-PROOF...MADE IN U.S.A." I think this was made circa 1966 to 1968 - give or take. (The first Sirloin Stockade opened in 1966. The logo on the underside of this cup is the "Anchor over H", which Anchor Hocking stopped using around 1968.) The cup is in VERY GOOD condition. There are a few tiny (smaller than a pin head) "flea bite" nicks that have black specks. (See close-up with pencil point indicating the largest.) The red graphics are clean and bright, and there is nothing I would call a chip or crack. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
