Mosser Glass Eggplant Purple Pitcher Set Hobnail Fenton Mould Jadeite Gigi
It’s finally here-- a lovely but useful item — a pitcher and 4 glasses Mosser’s cool “Eggplant", a deep, rich opaque purple color, in the historic Hobnail pattern, which Mosser refers to a “Gigi”.  Purple lovers will be in heaven!  Handmade, right here in the USA.  If you recognize the shape, it’s because this Purple Hobnail pitcher and tumblers were made from a historic Fenton Art Glass Hobnail mould, which Mosser Glass acquired from the Fenton company when it liquidated its mould holdings in 2017.  The hobnail moulds live again at Mosser — and the Eggplant Purple color is great!  An applied handle to the pitcher finishes the effect.
The pitcher is about 8 inches tall and each timbler is about 6” tall.
Fenton always advertised this pitcher as an 80 oz. pitcher, and the tumblers merely as “ice tea” glasses.  The actual liquid measurement would be somewhat less, though, since Fenton always measured to the rim.
This is in new, factory condition. No chips or cracks.
