ST-70 & AB, the perfect Dynaco ST-70 upgrade kit
I offer the latest upgrade kit, our ST-70. This kit replaces the original Dynaco driver circuit and printed circuit board, mounted triodes 12AX7 and 12AU7. The pipes are not included in the package!
This set will give your amplifier a revolutionary look and great sound!
The set will consist of all the necessary parts for the assembly and installation of the new driver printed circuit board and, of course, the AB-Q-ST70 / ST120 Auto Bias module. You will need to solder the driver board components.
The AB-Q-ST70 / ST120 auto bias board is pre-assembled as it mostly uses surface mount parts.
The set contains:
- 1.6 mm / 0.08 "thick printed circuit board
- Russian oil capacitors of other brands
- high quality metal film resistors
- ceramic gold-plated flat flat end eight-pipe sockets
- The hardware needed to install the printed circuit board into the amplifier chassis
- fully assembled automatic distortion module model AB-Q-ST70 / ST120
NOTE: all parts are loosely packed in a sealed bag. They are not packed in individually sorted parts.
The advantages of upgrading your Dynaco ST-70 amplifier with ours are:
1) a modern tubular circuit using a constant current source based on LM334 for a stable circuit
2) with automatic distortion, it is no longer necessary to monitor the distortion setting of the outlet tube. The automatic distortion module maintains the preset bias for the life of the supply tube! The distortion level is preset to suit the EL34 pipe family (6L6, KT88).
3) Not to mention that your ST-70 amplifier will look pretty cool with the blue LEDs that light up!
If the tube fails in the auto-distortion module, it can no longer maintain the preset level of distortion, the corresponding LED will dim, which means that the supply tube must be replaced. How simple!
Regardless of the age of the pipes, the automatic distortion module will keep the distortion level of the individual pipes at a preset level! So the output phase is always well balanced and kept in the same bias!
This kit requires assembly and a soldering iron. Please make sure you understand what you are buying, as I do not accept any set return requests.
Of course, the ST-70 amplifier is not included in the package.
