This is a CD pattern/tutorial for "Boho Hatter Marionette" by Sharon Mitchell. Boho is socially unconventional in an artistic way. Sharon designed and made Boho with hopes that his bright and happy appearance would help to dispel feelings of doom and gloom with our current worldwide pandemic.
Boho Hatter could also be made as a doll only, without the internal wires that joint his neck. Instead, his neck would be supported with a wire armature that is stitched to his head.
There are so many fun possibilities with this versatile pattern. With a few alterations, a change of costume and your imagination, you could also create Pinocchio, Peter Pan, or even a female marionette!
