Listed here is a Victorian, Silver Plated, Oval, Domed, Rotating, Breakfast Dish by the English company, Mappin & Webb.. Marks under the dish indicate this is Silver plate. Mark indicates this was made  between 1863-1902.
This larger serving dish features chased, scrolling engraved vines, flowers and leaves on the top of of the dome. Dome is supported by 4 long fluted legs with paw feet. Handles are at either end of the dome. Dome has a button stop. Within the dome are 2 inserts. Dome is not monogrammed. Dome rotates easily.
Dish measures about 14.5" long, 4.5" tall with dome open, 9" with dome closed. Piece is about 8" wide. Item weighs 6.5 lbs.
Item is in very good condition without dings, minimal scratches and not over polished so plate loss appears to be minimal. The button stop is chipped. See pics.
This is an impressive larger tureen and displays well. Item has been in the same family for generations.
