  • Condition: This piece is showing the underneath copper at places, as seen on the photos, there are no dents, but there are scratches, there is no bottle or piece for the middle opening, please zoom at the pictures for a complete understand of this inkwell. As always we only lighted washed the item with Silver foam, and may polishing upon arrival.

    Description

    Up for your consideration is an antique unmarked inkwell made of copper and plated on silver, very much like a piece of Sheffield plate piece, and i assuming this to be an English piece. The bottles are original and the lid sits loosely on top. There is some of the copper showing at place. The piece measures a bit over 4 inches tall counting the glass bottles. The bowl in itself measures 2.25 inches tall at the end, approximately 12 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. The details on the foot, seems to be Georgian in Style.
