Antique English Silverplate Platter Dome Grape Leaf Finial & Platter 1915 - 1924

Description

We are pleased to offer a fabulous silverplated platter dome and platter.  The dome is marked with a Parkin & Marshall mark, from Sheffield, England, dating to between 1915 an 1924.  It has massive finial of grapes and leaves with a twig handle.  It is gadrooned around the rim, matching the rim of the platter.  The platter has a different maker's mark so they may not have started life together but we are offering the set as we found it.  It's a wonderful and impressive find.
Condition:
Excellent - there is one blemish near the rim on the dome (see photos) and a few minor scratches on the tray;  otherwise no plate wear or loss, scratches or shadows.  There are no monograms.
Size:
Dome is 10 1/2" x 14";  5" tall, platter is 12 3/4" x 16".
