Project six string is all original except for fingerboard and heel modification, so that the height of the board has clearance for the ramp over the head of the banjo. Perfect.
It is almost done and needs a player or a banjo shop.
Original calf skin, hoop, hide, claws, tuners cade with original key, is all there and in GREAT shape
Original fingerboard included on the side.
Blueprint to finish is a simple visual and supplied to make a proper tailpiece with a potential tailpiece stop.
Rosewood is supplied to make a bridge - adjustable compensating if you like; and heel to hoop join, or a cap for the heel.  The neck is solid and will never move, The frets are great and are new.
The 22 fret rosewood fingerboard is perfect.
Please note there is a handling fee to cover the cost of the rosewood. It is 180 years old from the stock of a New York flute maker named William Hall, and it is special resonant wood like nobody seen. Not the best piece I have but there will be plenty left over to make regular bridges.  If you need some separate I can supply.
Clearance is excellent for the ramp over the hoop, and rosewood fingerboard is supported with  an under laminate that runs though the two piece German tiger tail maple neck, between the board and the maple neck and I believe is Burmese Rosewood or a very dense and resonant species of mahogany.
Case  was custom made for this custom instrument 1920 and is in good shape. Original key supplied and works the lock.
This was not only loud and dynamic, it had a lot of character and is much more resonant now. I can tell just by handling it. It magnifies the sound of the skin on fingertips just by handling it.
